Yoav is an experienced engineer, project manager and project developer in the fields of insect protein and waste management. In the last 3 years Yoav has worked in the insect protein industry in the USA, Europe, Africa, Australia and the middle east, including being the head project manager of one of the leading insect protein production plant in the world. Yoav also have more than 8 years of experience in waste management specializing in organic waste to energy , this includes project management of a $50 million waste to energy project. 

Yoav holds a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering and a M.Sc. in sustainable energy engineering. 

· Europe: Feasibility study and concept design of a 20 t/d BSF protein production plant

· USA: design of a dedicated fly breeding chamber

· USA: design of a large-scale centralized egg production facility with de-centralized farming and processing factories.

· Israel: design of BSF protein production facility for R&D purposes. 

· Middle east: Waste sourcing strategy and identification and feedstock characterization studies. 

· East Europe: business plan for a large scale BSF protein plant for fund raising. 

· South Africa: project development, engineering and project management of a 50 and 200 t/d feedstock processing capacity for BSF protein production plant.

· Construction of a full cycle “growth and auto harvest“ insect farms in Israel
